CWA WNY Council’s 23rd Annual E.J. Mays Scholarship Golf Tournament

This past Friday, September 12th, the Collins & Collins team had the pleasure of enjoying a gorgeous afternoon at Chestnut Hill Country Club for the CWA WNY Council’s 23rd Annual E.J. Mays Scholarship Golf Tournament. 

With blue skies, warm sunshine, and a beautifully maintained course, the conditions were perfect for a round of golf — and the spirit of camaraderie among players made it even better. This tournament is always a favorite for us, not just because of the great golf, but because of what it represents: community, generosity, and a commitment to supporting future generations through the E.J. Mays Scholarship Fund. 

We were honored to participate once again and proud to serve as this year’s official cart sponsor. Being part of an event that directly benefits local students and celebrates the legacy of E.J. Mays is something we truly value, and we thank the CWA WNY Council for allowing us to contribute in that way. 

Of course, the fun didn’t end on the 18th hole! Following the tournament, attendees were treated to one of the best parts of the day — the raffle. With a wide range of prizes and some friendly competition off the course, it was a great way to wrap up the afternoon and support the cause even further. 

And we can’t forget to give a huge thank you to Chestnut Hill Country Club for hosting us and for serving up an absolutely delicious steak dinner after the round. It was the perfect way to cap off a memorable day.
