A Cold but Memorable Day at the Buffalo First Ward St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Even though the Buffalo wind reminded everyone that winter isn’t quite ready to leave Western New York, that didn’t stop thousands of people from coming together last Saturday to celebrate one of the city’s most cherished traditions — the Buffalo First Ward St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
For all of us at Collins & Collins Attorneys, this is a day we circle on the calendar every year. The First Ward parade has always been more than just a celebration of Irish heritage — it’s a celebration of community, pride, and the hardworking men and women who make Buffalo the special place we call home.

If you saw the Collins & Collins crew walking in the parade, chances are you might have picked up one of our Collins & Collins koozies. Judging by the smiles and how quickly they disappeared, we’d say they were a pretty big hit!

Supporting the Unions and Trades That Build Buffalo
One of the best parts of the day was spending time with the local union members and tradesmen who help build and strengthen Western New York every single day. At Collins & Collins, representing union workers and construction professionals has always been a core part of what we do, so events like this mean a lot to our entire team.
From ironworkers and laborers to electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, and operating engineers, the trades are the backbone of Buffalo. These are the men and women who work through snow, wind, rain, and long hours to build our roads, schools, bridges, and now even the new Buffalo Bills stadium.
Being able to walk in the parade alongside the people we support and represent is something we never take for granted.

Why Days Like This Matter
Parades like the First Ward St. Patrick’s Day celebration remind us of something important — Buffalo is built on community.
It’s built on neighbors supporting neighbors, unions supporting their members, and local businesses supporting the people who keep this city moving forward. That spirit is exactly why we’re proud to be a part of the Buffalo community and why we’re honored to represent so many hardworking individuals and families throughout Western New York.
To everyone who came out, walked in the parade, cheered along the route, or shared a drink and a laugh with us — thank you for making the day so memorable.
From all of us at Collins & Collins Attorneys, we hope everyone had a safe and happy St. Patrick’s Day.
