This past Saturday, May 30th, the Collins & Collins team had the privilege of participating in and sponsoring the 14th Annual Carpenters Local 276 Golf Tournament at Terry Hills Golf Course. From the moment we arrived until the final putts dropped, it was clear this tournament continues to be one of the highlights of our year.

The day started off on the right foot as golfers arrived to beautifully prepared carts loaded with gift bags—a small touch that immediately set the tone for a first-class event. Seeing union brothers, friends, supporters, and new faces gathering together before tee off reminded us exactly why events like these matter so much. They bring people together, strengthen relationships, and support causes that directly impact hardworking members and their families.

Mother Nature certainly did her part, delivering a perfect sunny Saturday that made for ideal golfing conditions. Throughout the day, there were booming drives off the tee boxes, incredible approach shots, clutch putts, and plenty of friendly competition mixed in with laughs from hole to hole. Every group seemed to have their own highlight shots and stories to tell by the end of the round—along with a few swings they would probably like to forget.

One thing that deserves special recognition was the outstanding hospitality provided by Terry Hills. The food throughout the event was absolutely fantastic and kept everyone fueled up for a long day on the course. Combined with cold drinks, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere, it created an experience that went far beyond just golf. Add in the raffle prizes, giveaways, gift bags, and camaraderie throughout the day, and it’s easy to see why this tournament continues to grow year after year.

More importantly, this event is about supporting something bigger than ourselves. The Carpenters Local 276 Brotherhood and Benefit Fund continues to provide valuable support and resources to its members and their families, and we are proud to play even a small role in helping support that mission.

At Collins & Collins, we have always been proud supporters of organized labor and the hardworking men and women who help build Western New York every day. Being invited back each year and having the opportunity to sponsor this tournament is something we truly appreciate.

A huge thank you to everyone at Carpenters Local 276 for putting together another outstanding tournament. From the laughs shared, the friendships made, the unforgettable shots hit, and the memories created throughout the day, this year’s tournament was another reminder of what makes the brotherhood so special.

We’re already looking forward to next year.
