Local 22 Fishing Derby at Rushford Lake Conservation Club

This past Saturday, July 28th, we had the incredible pleasure of once again sponsoring the Local 22 Fishing Derby at the beautiful Rushford Lake Conservation Club. With clear blue skies, sunshine, and smiles all around, it was the perfect day to enjoy the great outdoors and celebrate a cherished local tradition. 

As a fishing license-free weekend, the derby provided the perfect opportunity for kids and families to experience the joy of fishing without any barriers. Watching young anglers cast their lines, cheer on their friends, and proudly show off their catches was nothing short of inspiring. It’s amazing to see the next generation get excited about the outdoors and embrace the fun and tradition of fishing. 

Collins & Collins has proudly supported this event for over ten years, and it continues to be one of the highlights of our year. We’re deeply committed to giving back to our community and encouraging youth involvement in outdoor activities. Donating prizes and sponsoring this event is a small way we can help create big memories for these kids—and hopefully ignite a lifelong love for nature and conservation.
