Honoring Nurses at ECMC: A Heartfelt Thank You from Collins & Collins

This Monday, our team at Collins & Collins had the privilege of attending the Nurse's Appreciation Lunch at Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) in Buffalo, NY. It was more than just an event, it was a powerful reminder of the essential role nurses play, not only within ECMC but throughout our entire Western New York Community. 

Nurses are the heart of ECMC and our healthcare system. They bring unmatched dedication, compassion, and resilience to every shift—often working long hours under high-pressure conditions. Their contributions extend far beyond medical care: they offer emotional support, guidance, and comfort to patients and families during their most vulnerable moments. 

We were especially honored to stand with the New York State Nurses Association

(NYSNA), a vital organization that unites and empowers nurses across New York. NYSNA plays a critical role in advocating for nurses' rights, improving workplace conditions, and raising the standard of patient care at hospitals like ECMC. 

At Collins & Collins, we believe in recognizing and uplifting those who serve on the front lines of healthcare. Connecting with the incredible nursing staff at ECMC Buffalo was both inspiring and humbling. Hearing their stories firsthand only deepened our appreciation for their service and sacrifice.
