This past Saturday, the Collins & Collins team had the privilege of spending the day at the beautiful Rushford Lake Conservation Club for the annual U.A. Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 22 Fishing Derby. As proud supporters of New York's union workforce, we were honored once again to sponsor this incredible event and spend the day with the hardworking members of Local 22 and their families.

With blue skies, warm sunshine, and plenty of fish to catch, the day was filled with smiles, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. From the youngest anglers casting a line for the very first time to seasoned fishermen sharing tips along the shoreline, it was a wonderful reminder of what makes the union community so special—family, friendship, and tradition.
One of the highlights of the day was seeing all of the children receive prizes for their participation. Watching the excitement on their faces as they celebrated their catches and enjoyed the festivities was something everyone in attendance will remember. Events like these are about much more than fishing—they're about bringing generations together, building lifelong friendships, and strengthening the bond within the Local 22 family.

This year's event carried even greater meaning as it was officially renamed the Harvey Wood Memorial Fishing Derby in honor of Harvey Wood, who sadly passed away last year. Harvey was a beloved member of Local 22 and the Rushford Lake Conservation Club, and this annual fishing derby was one of the days he looked forward to most each year. He cherished spending time with fellow union members, welcoming families to the conservation club, and, most importantly, watching the kids enjoy a day outdoors doing something they loved.
It was a touching tribute to a man who dedicated so much of his life to his union, his conservation club, and the people around him. His presence was certainly missed, but his spirit could be felt throughout the day as friends, family, and fellow union members gathered to celebrate the tradition he cared so deeply about.

Collins & Collins was proud to donate prizes for the derby and to be part of such a meaningful event. Supporting organizations like U.A. Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 22 goes beyond sponsorship for us—it reflects our longstanding commitment to the men and women who build, maintain, and strengthen our communities every day. We are grateful for the opportunity to spend time with so many incredible people and to continue supporting events that bring union families together.
To everyone at U.A. Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 22, thank you for allowing Collins & Collins to once again be a part of this outstanding tradition. We appreciate all of the hard work that goes into organizing such a successful event, and we are grateful to have shared another unforgettable day with you.
We look forward to seeing everyone back on the water next year as we continue to honor Harvey Wood's memory and celebrate the strong sense of community that makes Local 22 so special.
